It's the month of December and the mood hasn't been too exciting. I guess it's because a lot of people can't afford to spend Christmas the way they would have loved to due to cash constraints but i want you to know that there's a lot to be thankful for. We should all be thankful for life, family, friends and good health. As Christmas draws near, make it a point of duty to be kind to people. Give out to the less privileged and work at being a better person. A lot of People usually say they want to do more for others but they don't have the time. Here are ways you can support the less privileged during this festive period.
1) You can support Vocal Slender's ghetto love project which comes up on the 16th of December in Ajegunle by donating clothing items, food or you can support in terms of cash. Please contact Vocal Slender on 08060582847 if you would like to be a part of this.
2) You can also be a part of another initiative put together by two beautiful Ladies, Madona and Ada. They plan to spend Christmas with Makoko residents. They would be giving out plates of food to the People of Makoko on Christmas day. You can be a part of this wonderful initiative by following them on twitter @madphury or @ada_d_body or send an email to gettalkingnaija@gmail.com. Their contact number is 08187145234.
3) You can support Bolanle Mabawonku's ''Sponsor a child'' project where she'll be having a Christmas party for Children from the Motherless babies home on the 21st of December at the Fun factory in Lekki phase 1. All you have to do is buy a ticket for a Child to attend the party. Please contact her on 08023080248.
Putting a smile on someone else's face has a way of making one feel good. Make sure you put a smile on someone's face today. See you guys at my networking event, the best of both worlds networking cocktail which comes up on wednesday the 12th of December at N-tyce Lounge, Karimu Kotun street, V.I, Lagos from 6pm to 10pm.
